The games shown include the recently announced DRIVECLUB VR, the Ocean Descent experience from PlayStation VR Worlds, fast-paced shooter Rigs, puzzle game Tumble VR, tank combat game Battlezone, dogfighting shooter EVE: Valkyrie, adventurer game Wayward Sky, and silly arcade game Headmaster.ĭemo discs have all but become a thing of the past, as they were most popular in the late 90s and early 00s.
Today, on the PlayStation Blog, Sony detailed that 8 total games will be previewed on the demo disc. Each and every PS VR headset that’s sold will include a demo disc, just like the old days. All of the hype, marketing, and coverage from trade shows have led to this moment, when on October 13th, the video game developer, publisher, and console manufacturer will release its virtual reality HMD to the world. Luckily, even if you choose not to buy a single game for it on launch, you’ll still have games to play.
Sony’s PlayStation VR headset is just a little over a month away from release now.
